A Ceilidh, or Barn Dance, is a magnificent way to raise funds for your organisation: Fun and entertainment for everyone, a social event to bring you all together, and raising money to boot.  A Ceilidh to recorded music is a particularly popular way to do this, as the costs are much less, but the income raised and the fun to be had are the same.  For those with deeper pockets, a LIve Band is an alternative.

Most fundraising events I do easily raise several hundred pounds.
