Advantages of Recorded Music
Cost: One of the main reasons, cost can be around 1/3 to 1/4 of a live band.
Quality and Variety of Music: You get high quality bands with a variety of different sounds. The quality is consistently high, dependable, they’re never out of tune, and there are never any PA problems. I have professional PA that will suffice for up to 400 people.
Quick Set Up: I can go from arrival to set up ready to dance in 15 minutes, compared to at least an hour and as long as 90 minutes for bands. This can be useful if you have a short time window, for example not being allowed in until the wedding breakfast is over and the tables cleared.
Low Space Requirements: I require a very small amount of space to set up in. This can be important if you are considering having a barn dance followed by a disco – a very popular combination for weddings.
Immediate Booking: Bands can be notoriously slow in getting organised, with so many people to contact and arrangements to make. It is impossible to get a band at short notice / the last minute, whereas I can be on my way within 15 minutes of a phone call.
